Singapore, 2 April 2026 — The Digital Capital Collective Ltd. (DCC) convened DCC Charity Connect on 2 April 2026, bringing together over 100 participants from across the charity ecosystem and technology partners for a sector-wide briefing. The event marked a milestone, taking place just one day after DCC’s official transition to its new identity on 1 April 2026.
As DCC’s first public engagement under its expanded mandate, the Charity Connect set out the organisation’s vision for a more connected and digitally enabled charity sector — one better equipped to navigate complexity and deliver sustained impact across Singapore.

Mr Lawrence Ang, Chief Executive Officer of The Digital Capital Collective Ltd, addressing participants at DCC Charity Connect on 2 April 2026.
Strengthening Sector-Wide Digital and Governance Capabilities
Mr Lawrence Ang, Chief Executive Officer of DCC, opened the session by explaining the rationale behind the transformation. He described the establishment of DCC and its expanded role as a sectoral body for Singapore’s diverse charity landscape — serving as a trusted advocate, aggregator, and digital enabler.
This represents a strategic shift beyond standalone technology solutions towards building integrated products and services that enhance performance, strengthen governance, and support the long-term resilience of charities.
Drawing on insights from recent engagements with charity leaders, including the 2025 Charity Convening Workshop, Mr Ang highlighted common sector-wide challenges and underscored the need for coordinated collective action.
He emphasised that transformative social impact cannot be achieved in isolation. DCC’s role, he noted, is to aggregate needs, enable interoperability, and facilitate access to shared capabilities — allowing charities to focus on their core mission of serving their beneficiaries.

A Vision for an Integrated Digital Ecosystem
Participants received a preview of DCC’s vision for an integrated charity digital ecosystem, alongside forthcoming governance and digital enablement initiatives. Mr Ang also outlined upcoming products and services designed to support charities throughout their digitalisation journeys.
Reaffirming DCC’s commitment, he said:
“We will work very hard to uplift your transformation, performance and governance capabilities through digital enablement, so you can better serve your beneficiaries. Leveraging Tech for Good, we aim to build this City of Good to be better.”
Moving Forward Together
DCC Charity Connect marks the beginning of the organisation’s work under its renewed mandate, highlighting the importance of collaboration and shared capability building. By convening charities and partners at this early stage, DCC has laid a solid foundation for deeper engagement and alignment across the sector.
As The Digital Capital Collective Ltd. moves forward, it remains committed to advancing digitalisation, strengthening governance, and enabling collective progress across Singapore’s charity sector.
